The color of deep saffron yellow, this wine is lovely to behold in the glass. The nose has surprising notes of bright cherry and strawberry with subtler notes of lemon zest, honeysuckle and poached pear. The palate has an unctuousness which is buoyed by a bright acidity. Flavors of strawberry preserves and candied orange peel are balanced with zesty notes of honey and ginger.
